Equity Bank Managing Director Gerald Warui had today dismissed claims of the Equity Bank loaning 15 billions to Harun Aydin the Turkish Businessman. Who was lately linked with the deputy President Ruto. He also added that the Turkish wasn't their customer and also he had no account with them.
The Turkish Businessman who was depoted to his country from Kenya on Monday, August 9, 2021, after his arrested on the week before upon returning from Kampala and after a stay in custody over the weekend was expected at Kahawa Law Court in Kiambu to answer to terrorism charges.
Since his arrest on Saturday, Aydin was being held at the Nairobi Area anti-terrorism police unit (ATPU).the man Harun Aydin who was expected to accompany Deputy President William Ruto to Uganda last week.
This did go as the planned. Aydin was on the same flight as DP Ruto to Kampala but the authorities barred the second in command from boarding the plane.
