The Deputy President William Samoe Ruto, had today, the 2nd December 2021 engaged and supported small business operators at Kiatuni, Muumandu and Kaloleni Markets in Machakos Town Constituency, Machakos County.
The second in command visited Mama Patricia Ndila Matheka’s Kwa Kalui Shop and Hotel business in Kiatuni area of Machakos County which he noted that it is a classic example of the principle of his Bottom-Up Economic Model.
Ruto insighted that with friendly financial and legal framework, the widow and a mother of four can grow her business, and support her family and livelihoods around.
"This is what we mean by growing the economy from the bottom of the economic pyramid."
