1. The Pearl of Africa Hotel Kampala
Pearl of Africa Hotel is one of Kampala’s fancy and luxury steads on Nakesoro Hill, seated on a 14-acre site with an elevation of approximately 1,240 meters above sea level.
It is the tallest structures in Uganda’s capital city .The Pearl of Africa Hotel has 24 floors and a ballroom measuring 740 square meters, nine meeting rooms, two boardrooms, and a business centre with five restaurants
In 2012, the total construction bill for the property was estimated at about sh350b (US$150 million) but still the money was not enough.
Currently, over 200 workers, mainly Ugandans, have been trained for a year to handle business in the hotel, with the hope that the facility will attract mainly international tourists planning visits in the East African region.
Kenya Tallest Building
Britam Tower is a commercial skyscraper in Upper Hill, Nairobi, Kenya, and it has over 31 stories. It’s 200.1m (656 ft) high and was completed in 2017, overtaking several buildings to become the tallest building in Kenya.
Holding 32 usable floors, it also inherits a unique and prismatic shape; it starts as an equal four-sided footprint and ends with a 60m-massed two sided roof, containing three helical wind turbines
