No Surplus In Market: More Pain For Kenyans As Unga Prices Rise By Over Ksh 30.

Unga prices have again risen to cross the KSh 200 mark over increasing maize prices.A 2kg packet of maize flour is retailing at KSh 213 for some brands, up from KSh 180 at the beginning of November.Millers attributed the rise in the price of the precious commodity to inadequate maize in the market, which has seen the cost of a 90kg bag increase by KSh 1,000 to KSh 6,000.The high cost of maize flour comes amid harvesting season in the North Rift region.
