Quickmart Supermarket is one of the fastest growing supermarket in Kenya, since their merging with Tumaini, the supermarket has been opening new branches all over the country. In Nairobi I can admit that Quickmart has really gained fame and each estate has at least one Quickmart branch.
It was first introduced in the country in the year 2006 and it had a humble beggining before it grew and spread to other parts of the country. As they say good things take time to come, Quickmart has been growing steadily, until now it is among the biggest supermarkets in Kenya.
The supermarket was found by the late, John Kinuthia who established the business in Nakuru and after he died, his son Duncan Kinuthia took over the management of the business and he's the current owner. Under him, the business has grown and it has opened several other branches across the country. They merged with Tumaini 2 years ago and they are performing very well.
