The Kenya Power and Lighting Company will today have a maintained power interruption in some parts of the country due to routine maintenance. The public is therefore supposed to watch out for the times the power will be out and make necessary arrangements.
In Uasin Gishu County, Motwot market will experience blackouts as from 10am-12:30 pm. These are areas in Simat, Safaricom booster,Kampi Ng'ombe,Soko Mjinga, Tuiyo Market and Milk cooler, samutet market Ndalat Gas market and adjacent areas.
Meru County will also be affected as areas around Muruine, Gitimbine and Kaguma will be affected as from 9am to 5 pm. This areas are Mukiria, Ngonyi,kariene, Equator, Ruiga, Kaongo, Mujwa, Gulf Police Station, Black Africa Kariene, Nkubu Market, Nkubu Gok Offices, Consolata Mission Hospital, Woodland, Lenana Hills, She'll, Oil Libya, Total Petrol Station, Kirige, Nkabune, Chaaria Market, Cottolengo Hospital and adjacent areas.
Other areas which will be affected are in Kisii County where Maroba and Getare will be affected as from 10am -1pm.
In Nyeri County, Kiriani and Kamachia will be affected as from 9am -4pm.
