Kenya's tax collection agency has finally spoken up, making a sweeping announcement that affects all Kenyans living in major cities across the country and beyond.
As of today, January 9, 2023, the Kenya Revenue Authority has announced via its official Twitter account that today is the mandated due day for all Kenyan nationals to file and pay the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) tax returns.
In a concerted effort to encourage filing and payment of the class as mentioned above of tax return, the Kenya Revenue Authority has instructed Kenyan individuals to visit itax.kra.go.ke.
Kenyan people are urged to move quickly and file the tax as mentioned above return after the Kenya Revenue Authority announced that the deadline for filing and paying the Pay as You Earn Tax returns will be tonight at precisely midnight.
"Please submit your PAYE returns and remit any taxes payable right away. Keep track of the dates you need to file your taxes to stay away from fines. For your tax contributions, we are grateful. Please visit itax.kra.go.ke, "That's what the KRA said.
