The issue of fuel crisis has been the order of the day since last month. Kenyans have pleaded with the government to reconsider their decision and lower up fuel prices. The case was discussed in Kenyan parliament and from the look of things, fuel prices seem to be going down very soon. In connection to that, former prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga hinted last week that he will intervene with the government to in ensuring that fuel prices goes down.
The good news reaching right now is that interior cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi has released an announcement showing the decision that they have come up with concerning Kenya power Billing system and the fuel saga.
Matiangi has said that the government is focused in bringing down the cost of power by addressing the challenges that results in cost to consumers. He also added that fuel prices are under assessment and that Kenyans will see results in the next price review.
