President William Ruto has today, October 15th toured mount Kenya region and particularly Kirinyaga County for commissioning of multi billion Thiba dam that was constructed in collaboration of national government, and Japanese government.

Speaking during the function, President William Ruto asked competitors to give Kenya Kwanza government time to reduce the cost of living in the Country by increasing on production.
Responding to Azimio- One Kenya leader Raila Odinga claim that life is becoming unbearable to many Kenyans, President William Ruto said through the dams, levels of food production will increase, hence lowering cost of living.

"Our competitors must know that we have different approach. They are subsidising consumption but we are investing in production, that is a world of difference and we are going to teach them agricultural economics, ndio wataelewa." He said in his speech.

He was accompanied by Kirinyaga County Governor Ann Waiguru, National Assembly majority leader, Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichungwah, Water CS nominee Alice Wahome, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua among other host of Kirinyaga County leaders.
