Citizen TV yesterday night revealed that it legal to have offshore accounts to invest your money. Trevor Ombinja who is the news anchor explained to the viewers that there is no cause for alarm if a wealthy individual has money in other countries. The only thing he or she has to do is to explain how much. This only applies if you are holding a public office.
Kenyans have taken to the social media platforms attacking the television station of trying to protect president Uhuru Kenyatta. Most Kenyans cannot understand why the head of state chose to invest in another country while his own is experiencing an economic downfall. They need an explanation to this especially from Uhuru himself.
According to the national government most youths are learned but jobless. This is because most investors have left the country. This has happened during the Jubilee government regime. This may be the cause of the recent frustrations.
