2NK Sacco has grown to be among the top matatu Saccos in Kenya. This has however not come at a cheap price due to the competition present in the Kenyan matatu business.
James Kahiro, the Chairman of 2NK has been at the forefront of pushing the company beyond its limits by introducing innovation and developing other businesses under the umbrella of the Sacco.

Under his leadership, 2NK has gained popularity across the country hence boosting the profitability, reputation, and growth of the business.
The Sacco boasts of the following of businesses;
· Transport Services.
· Insurance Agency.
· Parcel Services.
· Petrol Services.
· Microfinance Services.
The company first began operating on the Nyeri route but currently, it has gained traction in other parts of the country including; Karatina, Eldoret, Nakuru, Nyeri, Nanyuki, and Thika.
2NK has a fleet of over 600 low-capacity vehicles, including 11 and 14 passenger seaters. The large fleet is largely attributed to the membership program offered to anyone around the country.
The program gives an opportunity for people to join the Sacco by bringing onboard a vehicle according to the guidelines of the company.
As a way of expansion, luxury buses were also included in its fleet some years back. The company is growing at a high rate and in the future, the company may be looking into growing into other sectors of transportation.
