Ruto reminded them about his bottom-up economy model agenda where he targets uplifting people who are down economically.
He revealed that the area MCA Mr Session and Mr Munga informed him that there are people with small businesses who need capital to expand what they do. He promised to start implementing the bottom up agenda by supporting them.
He said, "Nimesema kwa sababu niko nyumbani nataka mambo ya bottom-up nianzie hapa. Nyinyi kina mama nimekuja na wheelbarrow yenu ya one million shillings muweze kufanya biashara na kujiinua. I know over 400 women will benefit from this."
As usual, he did not forget the bodaboda riders. He gifted them three million shillings to help them pay loans and buy mortobikes.
The DP promised the people of Kilgoris that today the money came from his pocket but when he is elected next year their needs will be included in the budget.
