President William Ruto Set To Visit This County Tomorrow To Launch A Key Project

According to reports that have surfaced today, Dr. William Samoe Ruto, president of the republic of Kenya, will visit one of the Mount Kenya counties tomorrow morning to kick off a significant development project.

Dr. William Samoe Ruto, according to the NTV News, will travel to Kirinyaga county to oversee the discharge of water from the Thiba dam. This newspaper claims that water will be made available to rice crops. This will be welcome news for the county of Kirinyaga's rice growers, who have long struggled with a water deficit.

The construction of the Thiba dam project was begun a few years ago with funding from Uhuru's government, only to be restarted by a new administration. As other dams stalled owing to corruption, Thiba Dam is also one of the few that managed to be constructed. Kimwarer and arror dams are examples of these dams. Rigathi Gachagua, however, declared that these dams would be reactivated.
