Youths who have greed for faster money have moved an extra mile higher after two suspects were arrested with crushed padlocks which they lured gold businessmen one million shillings by tricking him that it was gold.
Rogers Kipkogei and Collins Chavera, posing as agents of a Congo-based gold baron, obtained over Sh1 million from a gold investor, after showing him dust from crushed padlocks.
The lured investor fall to the trick and deposited the money to different mpesa accounts that he was given by the tricky men.
It is crystal clear that the suspects used personal information of different people. They have used the different sim cards to steal money from Kenyans.
The case has now been ruled at the court to enable the detectives an ample time to investigate on the matter.
Kenyans are now urged to be very keen as the scammers are now escalating their game. The suspects are to face the law and if proven guilty to be thoroughly punished.
