It was good news for three Naivas Supermarket shoppers after Equity Bank Kenya gifted them with shopping vouchers. The newly opened Naivas Supermarket Simba branch that is located in Kisumu town allowed it's customers to shop and pay using Equity cards for a chance to win various prizes.
Equity Bank Kenya: "Equity Kisumu Branch partnered with the newly opened Naivas Supermarket Simba in Kisumu town where Equity card holders who shopped using their cards were rewarded with shopping vouchers. Paying using the Equity card is safe, convenient and free. Kulipa Ni Equity Card."
According to Equity Bank, anyone holding an Equity card can shop at any outlet and use the same card to pay for amount as low as 100 shillings.
Equity Bank Kenya: "A client who used her Equity card to shop at Naivas Simba receives a shopping voucher from Hezron Githinji, Equity Kisumu Branch payment supervisor. Equity card holders can pay using their cards at any merchant location for amounts as low as ksh 100."
Once a customer pays using the card, the customer gets an SMS displaying the transaction amount made and the location where he/she has shopped.
Equity Bank Kenya: "Equity Kisumu payment supervisor Hezron Githinji hand over a shopping voucher to a shopper who used her Equity card to shop. Customer who use their cards to pay receive an SMS alert with Merchant location and transaction value allowing them to reconcile their payment."
The cards can be collected at any Equity branch and it takes a few minutes for the card to be processed.
Equity Bank Kenya: "A client receives a shopping voucher from Hezron Githinji, Equity Kisumu Branch payment supervisor. Payment cards are processed instantly at all Equity branches allowing customers to access funds from their accounts easily."
