CEO Of Fanaka Real estate in Ruai, has sparked mixed reactions online after he narrated how he built is Ksh500 Million empire with just Ksh40,000 helb loan. Moses Muriithi Kihunii, an alumni at Kenyatta University and an Engineering Student who graduated in 2013, has shown that one can be successful if you're determined and hardworking.
Muriiti always wanted to be self-employed in future and that's why he worked really hard. Also with the job market being flooded, it gave him more reason to become self-employed. With Ksh 40,000 helb loan, he purchased an online account writing and balanced with his studies.
The first account was deactivated due to some technical problems, but he didnot gave up. He saved some money and bought second account and it became successful. The profit he got, he used to purchase plots and selling them at a profit
He worked with online account for 3 years, from 2012-2015. He used to purchase two to three parcel of land each year. After graduation, he had plots in prime areas within Nairobi. In 2015, he registered the company Fanaka Real estate and up to date it has helped clients to purchase plots successfully.
His aim is to work with real landowners than brokers who hike land prices. His advice to youth is that they should be dedicated and they should keep on working hard and to remain focused on their goals and it will eventually bore fruits.
