The minister for agriculture and livestock Hon Mithika Linturi today held a meeting with farmers across the country at Kilimo House in Nairobi county. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the leaders discussed about the food security which is now affecting our country.
According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the cabinet secretary for agriculture and Livestock Hon Mithika Linturi urged the farmers to continue investing in farming so that our country can be able to supply food products to Kenyans. This has come when many Kenyans are now suffering due to lack of food.
Turkana and Kajiado Counties are among the top region which was affected by drought leading to less food production. Despite that, Kenyans are urged to support each other during this time of high cost of living. Remember to maintain peace among each other during this time of national examinations.
