Life Continues: Businesses Resumes In Kisumu As Kenyans Await President Elect.

Businesses in Kisumu have resumed operations ahead of the announcement of the presidential results.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is expected to announce the August 2022 presidential results on Monday, August 15.

A spot-check confirmed the residents of Kisumu city were mostly going about their businesses as usual despite the anxiety of waiting for the presidential results. Boda boda operators, mama mbogas and shopkeepers were going about their businesses for the better part of Monday.

Most traders expressed confidence of political stability,saying that life continues irrespective of who between Raila Odinga and William Ruto is announced the president-elect.The IEBC finished the verification of Forms 34A and 34B tallying the presidential results.
