Mobility is key element of service delivery to the residents and cooperative societies in the county. In the recent past cooperative officers and auditors encountered challenges of moving from one place to another as they discharge their supervisory and advisory duties to cooperatives.
The CECM for Trade, Industrialization, tourism and cooperative development Pilot Stanley Kirui promised to have the issue of mobility addressed as a move to support the officers access the cooperatives and today he was glad as he received one out of two motorbikes donated to county as a CSR by TransNational Times DT SACCO. While speaking after delivering the motorbike, the chairman of the SACCO noted that this was achieved due to good relationship created between county and the SACCP and a special request made to the SACCO by the CECM when he paid them a courtesy call.
On his part the CECM noted that one of the main objective of the cooperative department during Governor Natembeya administration is to promote cooperation among cooperatives and the county government. He emphasized that he is using his networks to better lasting relationships and collaborations with cooperatives, institutions and business within and outside the county for the benefit of the TransNzoi residents.
While thanking the SACCO's leadership for their generosity and willingness to support government initiative, the CECM noted that H.E Governor Natembeya is more dedicated to supporting grassroot service delivery to Mwananchi and he will fully support the field officers to access the people with ease.
