It will be good news to all Kenyans after what has been reported on the price of fuel beginning 14 December. Oil Exporters have now said that they are expecting a drop in price of fuel as from 14 December when Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority,EPRA will announce the new price of fuel.

Petroleum Outlets Association of Kenya (POAK) on Wednesday, December 7, revealed a substantial worldwide drop in fuel prices that will benefit Kenya.

"Oil Prices are slowly collapsing because of the impact of capping Russian crude oil,” POAK announced in a statement.

POAK has revealed that the price of fuel will also collapse due to weakened global demand for fuel.

The fuel prices in Kenya reached the record high prices after President William Ruto removed the fuel subsidies that was placed to cushion Kenyans by the then President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Currently fuel prices set by EPRA in November 14 are as follows, the price of petrol at Ksh177.30, diesel at Ksh162.00 and kerosene at Ksh145.94 in Nairobi.
