Good News to Kenyans For The Next 90 Days on Maize Flour Prices as CS Munya Orders a New Move

It is a sigh of relief to a myriad of Kenyans, who consume maize flour and farmers for the next 90 days before the next harvest. As Agriculture Cs Munya has ordered a new move to cushion kenyans against the increasing prices on maize and animal feeds.

Taking to his Facebook page, Cs Munya has suspended all levies on imports of maize and animal feed products. Which will be effective starting from July 2022.

The move by Cs Munya is aimed at lowering the cost of maize flour and animal feeds. To enable Kenyans to procure the product at pocket-friendly prices.

"I have suspended all levies on imports for Maize and Animal feed products effective 1st July 2022. 

This initiative is aimed at lowering the cost of maize flour and animal feed in the country for the next 90 days before the next harvest.

The new measures will help fast track the clearance of trucks at the border points her snarl-upsnarl up has been witnessed," Cs Munya penned down via his Facebook page.
