The boda boda business is turning around lives of hundreds of young people and needs every support from the goverment.
Today boda boda chairmen from all wards participated in one day training at Webuye East NG-CDF office on co-operative management, cycling skills and road safety.
He said that In the next financial year, he is going to commit 3M in the boda boda sector for training, licences and saccos.
He added that will be also capacity building for boda boda saccos to ensure proper management of resources.
"Am committed to ensure regional boda boda registration bill flops and come up with a regulation in parliament to moderate the humiliating intrest rates from boda boda lending firms", he said.
He assured that Webuye East residents will be relieved from the high cost of health services.
"In my capacity and as a member of health committee in parliament, am set to spearhead the launch of UHC ( Universal Health Coverage) in our constituency. Webuye East residents will be relieved from high cost of health services", he said.
He noted that bottom up economy is about moving the economy forward and ensuring all business people have a real stake in the progress of our economy as a constituency.
"Am going to upgrade Misikhu market structures, set up street lights and install piped water", he stated.
He also said that has put measures in order to support business people.
"I will support business people through Uwezo and youth funds to enable them get loans and boost their business", he said.
