How CEO, Karuri Secretly Sold Sportpesa at 15million Ksh to Uk Firm

Most of you have been wondering what happened to the once famous betting company in Kenya, SportPesa, today I will tell you the whole story of what happened. It has been revealed that the SportPesa chief executive Ronald Karuri, Sold the brand to a uk company, earlier this year in June.According to the reports, it is alleged that Ronald sold the company for 14.7 million Ksh.(courtesy of BIZNAKENYA).

This was alleged by SportPesa shareholders billionaire entrepreneur Paul Ndung’u and Asenath Wacera. According to a report that appeared in the Business Daily the deal to sell off SportPesa was signed off in secret by Karauri.It is said that it was a mutual agreement and the company is now owned by the SportPesa Global Holdings Limited based in Uk. This is the reason why you less hear of SportPesa in Kenya, and even most of its offices are closed. Kalina Karadzhova, a Bulgarian national, signed the deed on behalf of Sportpesa Global.
