Impacts Of National Irrigation Authority And Its Transformation

National Irrigation Authority has created more water reuse points within the system in Mwea irrigation scheme ensuring that during dry periods there is no drainage to the natural drainage system.

Through the current phase of lower Nzoia irrigation development project national irrigation authority expects to put about 10,000 acres under irrigation in Siaya and Busia counties.
