William Ruto, Kenya's deputy president who is also running for president in the UDA Coalition, is releasing his platform today at the Kasarani Sports Complex in Nairobi. After a number of consultative economic conferences were held across the nation, the current event was decided upon.
The Kenyan public have heard part of DP Ruto's agenda, which mostly centers on the Bottom-Up Economy model that his team has been pushing for. He listed his plan, which includes UDA's pledge to build 250,000 homes annually to address the issue of slums and Kenyans' lack of access to affordable housing.
Speaking to Citizen TV in Kenya Right now, we're short 2 million homes. Although we must construct 250K homes year, we only manage to construct 50K, and just 2% of those are affordable for most Kenyans. DP William Ruto remarked.
