The former Kiambu Governor Hon William Kabogo, has dismissed the speculations that the economic narrative which is being spearheaded by politicians eyeing for presidency has reached everywhere in the country, especially the Deputy President Dr William Ruto's bottom-up model.
Speaking on an interview with KTN news television, Kabogo said that people in the village do not actually know what the presidential aspirants are talking about and that narrative is only in town Nairobi.
People in the village do not understand what bottom-up economic development model is, the narrative is only in town where a few people are talking about it and also in political rallies politicians are talking about it. But the common citizen in the village don't know what it is and they don't want to here it, instead that want to see actions when it is implemented not empty words.
"This economic narrative is actually not in the village, it is only here in town where people are talking about it. You go into villages and you not here about. People don't know what bottom-up is and they don't want to know, they only want to see changes." He said.
