Finally speaking out, Equity Bank has issued a bold statement to its clientele in prestigious local and regional hubs.
Equity Bank has used its official Twitter account to inform that, in preparation for new year celebrations, all of its branches strategically located within the Kenyan Government will be closed today, January 2, 2023.
Equity Bank, however, has stated that the nationwide closure of its branches will not affect the availability of banking services for any of its customers.
The bank has informed its customers that they would have access to financial services via the official USSD code *247#, the Equitel line, the Equity mobile app, Equity cards, and online Banking for 24 hours even if the bank's physical locations will be closed.
"We regret to inform you that all of our locations will be closed today in observance of the New Year's holiday. Keep in mind that you may always get in touch with your bank by dialling *247# or using the Equitel, Equity Mobile App, Equity cards, or Equity Online and EazzyBiz online banking services.
