Kenyans are an unhappy after the price of Unga goes down as CS Munya promised but with only Ksh.2. Many Kenyans are wondering how the CS can only have an intervention that is unhelpful yet many people were waiting for a big relief that would change a lot of things for the people who are struggling to make ends meet.

Mr Munya had earlier in the week promised that the price of Unga was going to go down after the government promised to suspend levies on all imported maize products. Today after the suspension of the levies two days ago, Kenyans have learnt that the price of maize will only go down by about Ksh. 2 which does not even make things better.

Kenyans have said that the reduction in Unga prices by Ksh. 2 does not make the situation any better. A section of Kenyans have observed that the reduction is so little that it only favours those who are making purchases in large scale but does not help the common citizen.
