The Kenyan Government has today broken silence with a powerful message targeting all Kenyan citizens inhabiting distinguished local and regional destinations.
Addressing through the office of the Deputy President today the 4th of March 2023, the Kenyan Government has announced that it has solemnly stopped licensing imported powdered milk in a strategic move fostered towards enabling the local farmers to enjoy better prices.
The Kenyan Government has directed the Kenya Dairy Board to stop with immediate effect issuance of licenses for importation of powdered milk.
Giving a glimpse of the pivotal reason as to why it has arrived at the strategic decision to stop issuing licences for importation of powdered milk, the Kenyan Government articulated that it is simply because "the state does not want one person to dominate the market".
Secondly, the Kenyan Government divulged that the stoppage of issuance of licences for importation of powdered milk was geared towards enabling "the local farmers to enjoy better prices."
"We have now stopped importing powdered milk in order to enable the local farmers to enjoy exemplary prices. The Kenyan Government does not in any way want one person to dominate the Kenyan market. No more issuance of licences for importation of powdered milk," Deputy President divulged.
