The firm is the current largest world's security company being the third largest private employer company. They provide a wide range of general security services that designed to provide customer services in various parts of the world. According to sources, the company has employed over 530,000 people around the world. This 120 years old company was founded by Marius Hogrefe, initially known as Kobenhavn Frederiksberg Nattevagt, where they later renamed it Falck company.

In around 2002,the company went to buy the Wackenhut corporation in the United States of America which later in 2004 led to the formation of worldwide G4S Security. It has expanded and as of 2021,the company serves nearly all parts of the world including rural developing countries.

The company currently offers manned security services where it offers screened security officers, security systems such as CCTv control, intruder alarms, fire detection, building system integration technology and video analytic and security.

They well pay their staff where lowest paid is earning around ksh 22,000 with accountants earnings upto Ksh 53,000. The minimum entry qualification in Kenya is that you must have attained above D+ in your KCSE. According to the current company profile details they are currently worth Ksh 14.5 billion. The company resources are scattered all over the world and are controlled from the respective branch headquarters.
