New Directives Issued By President Uhuru Kenyatta On People With CRB Loans

President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that people who have a negative listing on the Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB) will not be recorded.

The President made the announcement during at newly constructed Wang'uru Stadium where the Mashujaa celebrations were being held. He directed the Treasury to work with stakeholders and ensure the recovery of of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)

President Uhuru Kenyatta has odered the suspension on CRB listing in an effort to to offer relief to the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The President explained that borrowers with less than Ksh5 million who has been in the CRB list will not have their records incorporated in their credit report for 12 months.

The relevant authorities have also been ordered to halt of listing in CRBs for loans leads than Ksh5 million for a period of 12 months.

Kenyans who present at the stadium during the announcement, cheered to show their gratitude towards the president's announcement.
