Renowned South African-born billionaire and Twitter Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk has recently elicited a huge debate online after saying something controversial about Instagram which is well-known to be the greatest social media company competitior against his newly acquired Twitter platform.
In consonance with a post he shared late at night on Monday, the genius CEO revealed that Instagram causes depression among its fans while Twitter on the other side brings about rage on its users.
Defending his sentiments, Elon Musk indirectly hinted that he means no offence while questioning his followers which of the two social media platforms are they considering the best based on his belief.
"Instagram makes people depressed & Twitter makes people angry. Which is better?" He posed.
In response to this, social media users flocked his post's comments section with divided opinions supporting their favourite social media platform.
A section have claimed Twitter is best for its news platform while others disagreed to this while hitting out at Elon Musk and revealing Instagram is unassailable compared to Twitter for its beautiful pictures. See reactions below;
