Profitability is the most important aspect in the development and establishment of any business in Kenya. For maximum profits, I have analyzed both physical and online businesses with a net profit of five thousand shillings daily. The four businesses with huge profits that one should consider establishing are highlighted below.
1. Bar and pub busineses: it involves selling of wines, spirits and beers to the customers in bars and pubs. More than seventy percent of the kenyan population consume alcoholic products and hence offer a wide market for the business. Bars and pubs can be compined with other businesses such as restaurant, nyamachoma and accommodations for increased profits. Bars and pubs generate high profits of up to ten thousand shillings daily when located in busy towns.
2. Mushroom farming: the demand for organic mushrooms are still no met in majority of the restaurants. Mushroom farming business involves growing and supplying of mushrooms to the customers. Mushroom are grown on substrate and take a period of one year to mature. Mushrooms attract high profits since a kilogram goes for a hundred and twenty shillings farm price.
3. Furniture business: it involves the making and selling of furnitures such as sofa sets, chairs, tables, beds, racks and cupboards among many others. The increased need for decent lifestyles has made more people to opt for expensive modernized furnitures. This has inturn increased the demand and market for furnitures. Single furniture products attract a higher profit margin and hence making the business to be among the most profitables.
4. Mitumba business: it involves the selling of second hand clothes and shoes to the customers. Clothings are the most purchased products online and physically in Kenya thus guaranteed ready markets. Mitumba business should be strategically located in urban centres with high population so as to reach out to many customers. Mitumba business generates revenue of up to ten thousand shillings daily on a busy market day.
