2023/2024 Financial Year Budget is being drafted. An ongoing public participation is being conducted to gather views by the Kenyans. According to a source, the budget will embrace the people at the bottom of the pyramid in efforts to reduce poverty. Additionally the budget aimed at addressing drought, micro economic development, debt and inflation.
Kenyans while giving their opinions to KBC TV expressed huge expectations on the budget and also argued the Government to increase budgetary allocation to health to ensure drugs and key equipment are availed in public hospitals. Furthermore ,Kenyans needed allocations on subsidized school fees for Secondary and higher learning institution be increased.
The Government through the cabinet secretary of Finance is set to announce the budget for this financial year next month. The Government is set to enhance revenue mobilization. Through the comment section below feel free to share you experience if you could need it to be revised downard
