Kenyans on Instagram have come out and exposed digital Influencers misdeeds after Buzzroom Kenya gave them an opportunity of openly expressing how they feel about Social media influencer or Digital influencers. Through their Instagram stories, the Buzzroom people gave their followers a chance to say what they feel about influencers and they sure did.
One of buzzroom's followers narrated how she paid ksh3,000 to an influencer, for her to market her YouTube channel only for her to get one subscriber and four views at the end of the day.
Kenyans on Instagram revealed what they felt about Influencers, some saying that most of them do not have real followers but scam followers, they stated that when these influencers' post most of the people who comments are those that cannot purchase. They comment with emojis and does not inquire about the product being advertised.
One of the Buzzroom' followers also narrated how an influencer one day vowed to pray for her, urged her not to give up and continue advertising with her even though she did not get any inquiry or sales on the product that she was advertising. She was left wondering if the Influencer's job is praying or marketing.
