
The Lake Basin Mall is the name of the lovely shopping center. It may be found in Kisumu at Mamboleo Junction on the Kakamega-Kisumu road. It occupies a space of about 60,000 square meters. The mall was an undertaking that began in 2013 and was completed in 2016. It is currently open and running efficiently.

The Lake Basin Development Authority is the mall's owner. The main aim of constructing the mall was to help improve the economy of not only Nyanza region but also in western.
The mall has five floor complex with 140 shops,three star hotel ,show rooms ,a doctor's plaza,a children playing section and parking area that accommodate 335 cars.
The mall is expected to increase Kisumu's status as an economic centre, generate jobs for locals, and raise over US $2.2 million in rent per year.
