Good News As Fuliza Waivers Fuliza Charges

It's reprieve and sweet news for most of Kenyan who fondly rely on Safaricom's soft loan known as Fuliza. This comes as the president Ruto together with Safaricom CEO Mr. Ndegwa and other stakeholders held a consultative meeting resulting to reducing the maintenance fee by over 40%. Also borrowers of less than 1000 Kenya shillings to enjoy 3 days of free charge.

This news are welcomed as Fuliza as become the most affordable means to get quick cash ,with an estimate of Kenyans borrowing 1.2 billion on daily basis in the platform.

Speaking on the press briefing the president said his agendas are meant to cushions the citizen against the harsh economic conditions witnessed due to effects of attributed to COVID-19 pandemic , inflation and high cost of living caused by diminishing Kenya shilling against the dollars.

During the Kenya Kwanza campaigns President William Ruto who is the leader promised to revamp the economy using the bottom up approach if elected. Consequently the delivery of the promises made during the campaigns for the first 100 days have not be met while others arguing that it's still early to complain.

The reduction of fuliza maintenance fee has been welcomed by the netizens ,with more hopes that the president is going to look at other sectors which are still critical to the common mwanchi.As one netizen wanted to know when will the price of Unga come down as this precious commodity is used at almost every Kenyan household.
