Kenya Power will perform grid maintenance in parts of this country tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8, 2021. The company, therefore, wishes to advise its customers that power disruptions will occur in the areas listed below during the exercise.
The whole of Buruburu Phase 1 to 5, Jericho, Makadara and Mbotela will be under maintenance from 9.00 A.M. – 5.00 P.M. In specific the areas affected include Buruburu Shopping Centre, Metropolitan Hospital, Buruburu Flats, Buruburu Maisonettes, Buruburu Girls High School, Huruma Girls High School, Ofafa Jericho High School, Buruburu Estate, Jericho Estate, Maringo Estate and adjacent customers.KCB Complex, Mbotela Shopping Centre, Makadara Law Court & DC’s Office, Part of Jogoo Road, Part of Rabai Road, Part of Mumias South Road, Jogoo Road Police Station, Uchumi Super Market, Uhuru Market and adjacent customers.
Kalala area in Machakos county will be without electricity from 9.00 A.M. - 3.00 P.M. In detail St. Catherine Girls, Kalala Market, Kalala Primary School, Kalala Safaricom Booster and adjacent customers will be affected.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., consumers in the Mwambungo area of Kwale County will be without power. Specifically at 420 South, Mwisho wa Lami, Colobus Conservancy, Blue Marlin, Neptune, Kinondo Kwetu, Villa Kalista, Madago Secondary School, and other nearby locations.
