There are several Kenyan politicians who do own media stations in the country and some too do have a stake in these media station's and they are shareholders in the media companies.
Below are some of these politician's who do own these media station's.
The Moi family do have a stake in the Standard Group Limited and this is company that owns the Ktn news and home, radio maisha, Standard newspaper and Nairobian newspapers amongst other several stations.
The Kenyatta family do own the Media Max limited which owns the K24 tv, Milele fm, Kameme fm and TV, People's Daily Newspaper amongst other media stations.
The Royal Media services owner DR. S. K. Macharia is also a politician and at some point, he vied for a MP's seat.
Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu owns the Mbaitu FM and Syokimau FM radio station's and the Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji owns the Frontier fm and the Salaam fm.
Baite TV is owned by the Meru County woman representative Kawira Mwangaza.
Kirinyaga Woman representative Purity Ngirici owns the Mt. Kenya TV and Iganjo FM.
