Qwetu Student Hostels, are among the top most lavish, cool and classic student hostels in Kenya. Since that Period Kirathe has grown and achieved many goals in his life one of them being the entrepreneur, behind Acorn Group, which, is his real estate firm, that is behind this lavish hostel that were mostly meant for University Students.
Acorn group is behind all the Qwetu Hostels, that is the one located at Ruaraka, where most students of Kca University stay, Park lands, Jogoo Road, USIU University and finally the one that is being constructed at Karen.
Kirathe who is the chief company executive, is also the largest shareholder of the group with a stake venture of 30.24%.The organisation Achieved its major milestone, when London based firm Helios gave them a financial boost of 10 billion, to support the firms growth. This deal was approved in August 5th 2019.
This green bond, saw Acorn Group raise about 4.3 billion, to construct a very lavish and environment friendly student accommodation hostel within Nairobi. Kirathe was very proud for pioneering of the green bond in the country.
In one of the Interviews, Kirathe said that he is proud for the growth of his projects, and he said that entrepreneurship is not for everyone, because it requires financial discipline and patience. Kirathe said that the Late Chris Kirubi was his mentor. He said that they are planning to build more hostels and if possible with time they will even build others outside Nairobi.
With such strong hopes and determination, that is how Kirathe has managed to be among the most successful entrepreneurs in Kenya because Qwetu Apartments is a multibillion investment and Acorn as a group and also Kiarie arr earning are very good profit from the hostels.
