Exactly 5:50 pm on Thursday 7th September 2021, Kenya Commercial Bank well known as KCB Bank announced through short message to its customers that Bank to Mpesa, Mpesa to Bank and Mpesa services were back. The services went off for upgrading and maintenance process for some hours leaving many of its customers who use the services from not using it.
The short message that was sent to KCB customers said, "Dear customer, Bank to Mpesa, Mpesa to Bank and Mpesa float services are now available on KCB mobile Banking." The services help Kenyans to transfer money from Mpesa to KCB bank and vice vasa, pay bills like water, electricity, buy airtimes to their own or other phones and increase Mpesa float from KCB account.
"We thank you for your patience as we sought to resolve the issue," concluded KCB Bank on its short message. KCB Bank is one of banks in Kenya that partners with Safaricom in providing essential services to Kenyans currently.
