The hustler fund idea has added fuel to the fire that the Kenya Kwanza government is already igniting among Kenyans. As reported by this evening's news,
"The maximum loan amount from the "HUSTLER'S FUND" will depend on the borrower's credit score and will be restricted at Ksh50,000, with a minimum loan amount of Ksh500. The maximum annual loan interest rate will be 8%, calculated pro rata."
Kenyans have responded to these in a variety of ways, and some have said that "Therefore, the Hustler Fund will only let you borrow up to 50,000 shillings. Now that licenses alone cost more than $50,000 in this nation, what kind of business can you start with $50,000? Jambazi is no longer even attempting to conceal the fact that his supporters are stupid."
" Akina @DavidNdii should use some of that 50B a year hustler fund to pay off the arrears of those who are listed.. but that would actualy help people so I guess thats not what they are going to do."
