Moses Kuria has taken a swipe at Martha Karua over maize importations. The trade CS hilariously alleged that he was going to ensure the prices of maize flour would drop much lower than the number of votes Karua delivered to Azimio at her hometown.
'Karua should stop being a prisoner of the past, I will make sure maize flour prices have dropped much lower than the votes Martha Karua gave Raila in Gichungu . ' Kuria said.
Kuria was reacting to Karua's tweet that Kenyans should brace themselves for another maize scandal. She alleged that the rush to import maize had nothing to do with cushioning Kenyans or shortage in the market but that some cartels in the government were planning to loot from the state covers.
"In the grand coalition government as agriculture minister William Ruto was associated with Maize scandal. We are now set for season two of the Maize scandal," she said.
