With Kenyans facing tough economic times, the plight of many Kenyans have been on the cost of unga that continues to increase each passing day.
The rising cost of Maize flour has seen the political class take advantage of it to campaign for the August polls.
Uhuru's government had early this week delivered good news to Kenyans after Munya revealed that the government was not going to charge levies on all imported maize.

This led to celebrations from a section of Kenyans that the cost of Ugali was finally going to come down.
In what appears to be a response to Munya, Maize Millers have now revealed the new price of Unga.
Speaking to the Nation, the Millers have revealed that the price will only go down by 2 shillings.
This means that in areas where flour goes for sh 210, it will now be sh 208.
Kenyans will therefore still have to continue facing the unga crisis since she 2 difference is quite too small to make any difference.
