The wealthy Kenyan billionaire decided to reward his local church in Murang'a with the state art church in his village to replace the 1950s structure.
From the reliable sources the Royal Media Service boss stated that it was a way of thanksgiving for what the church did to him.
Macharia further stated that the church help him raise Ksh.4000 which he used to go abroad to further his studies after his father only managing ksh.1200.
"The one thing I am grateful to the people of Ndakaini about is how they came together to support me financially. When I wanted to go to the US, the ticket was Ksh.4,000.My father had to sell everything, and he raised Ksh.1,200, and that money came from organising dances in this area,”
Decades later Macharia went back to his local church only to raise the modern structure fixed with modern equipments that the church have not been able to build before.
Some of the features in the church include; spacious carpeted parking, plenty water taps, CCTV cameras, kitchen space, modern instruments and RMS chairs.
Kenyans flooded in the internet to praise the Royal Media Service boss of the good work that he has done that has outsmarted all the wealthy people in Kenya.
