News just in indicates that Morocco experts have arrived at the Port of Lamu as details of their visit revealed.
According to the information shared by Kenya Ports Authority, a delegation from the Tangier Med Port in Morocco today toured Port of Lamu in a move aimed at understanding the ongoing development of the LAPPSET corridor projects whose anchor is the Port of Lamu.

It is reported that Mr. Naisser Tlassellal, the GM for Engineering revealed that the potential for trade and cargo growth at the Lamu Port is immense hence Tangier's intention to work closely with the Kenya Ports Authority.

GM Lamu Port Engineering Sidai on the other hand took the chance to note that Kenya Ports Authority, KPA stood to benefit from Morocco's expertise as the operators of over 11 ports and the busiest port in Africa to enhance the capacity of Lamu Port on maritime trade.
