Kenyans have been facing hard economic times due to the high prices of essential commodities like the food. Netizens have been crying out to the government as they seek the authorities' intervention to cut down the cost of living.

As a concerned government, president Ruto has been promising Kenyans to be patient as his administration is engineering new ways of creating a favourable economic conditions to the netizens.
Today, 24th of February, president William Ruto has announced that the government will be eliminating taxes that were charged on cooking gases. This means that the new prices of the cooking gas will shoot down. This will cut the cost of living for the netizens across the country.

Meanwhile, president William Ruto's promise to eliminate the taxes charged on cooking gas comes a few days after the head of state reduced the prices of maize flour. President Ruto noted that the new maize flour will cost an average of Ksh180 per 2Kg packet, he promised to further reduce it to Ksh120 in the nearby future.
