United States based Kenyan lawyer Makau Mutua has asked his colleague Ahmednasir Abdullahi to lead a delegation of North Eastern elders to Deputy President William Ruto,through his twitter account Makau Mutua asked Ahmednasir to lead his people to Karen and present their list of economic demands,Makau responding to a press conference that was called by Rift Valley leaders today to give Deputy President William their demands,led by Governor Nanok of Turkana county they claimed that its time for their region to meet with Deputy President and present their grievances to him.
Makau Mutua further congratulated Deputy President for achieving the statue of a National leader after recent incidents of being given demands by several leaders,despite being a close friend to Ahmednasir the two always engage in slamming each other,just this week Makau reminded SC Ahmednasir of championing for his community to get a slot in the next government.
Few months ago deputy president William Ruto was given terms by Gema leaders who wanted their region to be considered when Dp Ruto forms the government,amongst issues they are keen to have is the position which he is currently occupying.
