Most of the farmers in Migori county are now facing a serious problem in their daily work. For example sugarcane farmers are now one of the most suffering farmers since their produces are now drying up and some being destroyed by people as they graze their animals bedsides the sugarcane plantation, as they claim that there is no place that they can take their animals for grazing since the sugar in the region has had serious damage and lack insufficient fund to pay out their workers, and their farmers in order to continue with their daily works.
Farmers are now crying foul for help from the government of the republic of Kenya and their county leaders like Hon. Mark Nyamita and their governor Hon. Zechariah Okoth Obado who to them doesn't care for the problem they are going through.
Mostly they now put their eyes on brokers for help who doesn't help but just steal the produce from them and most worrying thing is that they do that while the government of Kenya is around with all leaders alive not dead.
Sugarcane farmers are now just requesting for help from the government of Kenya to help them the way they help the team sector, they complains that they are also citizen of the country and they usually pay everything for the government and also taxes are been collected from them.
