Earlier on, Members of Parliament summoned the Equity Chief Executive Officer over Harun's alleged loan linked to the Dp's phone call.
And finally, Equity has denied any links with the deported Turkish investor associated with the Deputy President over the alleged huge amount of cash. The bank's managing director, Gerald Warui has revealed on Wednesday that Harun Aydin has no loan or account with Equity bank.
While appearing before the National Assembly Finance Committee, Warui has reiterated that Aydin does not operate and does not have any banking relationship, neither does he have a loan with Equity.
The Interior Cabinet Secretary revealed to the public that Harun Aydin was deported to Turkey after the state linked him to terrorism and he was also reported to associate himself with people involved in money laundering.
